I’m a PhD Student in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. My advisors are Ken Koedinger and Teruko Mitamura.

I develop tutoring systems and research instructional principles in novel domains. Specifically, I am investigating the effects of prompted self-explanation on second language grammar learning.
